Brother Michael Ruedin FFSC became the new Superior General of the brothers in Hausen/Wied during the 37th General Chapter.After six years, Brother John Francis Tyrrell FFSC handed over his office as Superior General of the Franciscan Brothers of the Holy Cross to Brother Michael Ruedin FFSC last Wednesday.
On May 31, 2024, a new General Council was elected at the conclusion of the 19th General Chapter, held by of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement.
