Data management and information security in a religious congregation

In a religious congregation, there are areas of work that have many delicate aspects that need to be known, such as:
- the management of personal data
- the management of informations about the lives of members
- the internal organizational and financial communications
- the need to extract complete and accurate statistical informations about the congregation
Keeping, updating and securing this informations requires defining complex processes that need care, expertise and attention.
While appropriate technological tools must be provided, it is important that these tools are managed within a secure and reliable information system.
Cybercrimes are on the rise worldwide. Reports on breaches of databases, websites, datacenters are increasingly worrying, in Italy in particular.
