Father Charles Phukuta re-elected Superior General of the Scheut Missionaries

The Missionaries of the CICM, gathered in the 16th General Chapter re-elected the Reverend Father Charles Phukuta as their Superior General (2023-2029).
The Chapter which is held from 4 to 30 June, has as its theme "Witnessing the Gospel in a changing world"
Of the 38 participants present in Rome for this Chapter, a record number of 24 are participating in a General Chapter for the first time.
The Capitulants re-elected the following confreres as Councillors:
- Vicar General: Rex Salvilla, RP
- Councilor: Márcio Flávio Martins, LAC
- Councilor: Roger Nshono Mbanji, ACO
- Councilor: Anthony Lim Pheck Leng, ASI
