"HOPE AND ACTION FOR THE EARTH"
Special
appeal for the Sustainable Agriculture Project (SAP) in Riimenze
Solidarity with South Sudan
Dear Superiors General,
Greetings of peace!
On behalf of Br. Emili Turú Rofes, President of Solidarity with South Sudan and Fr. Jim Greene, our Executive Director, we invite you to read the special appeal for the Sustainable Agriculture Project (SAP) in Riimenze.
While we remain committed to all our projects, the SAP project is now in need of your support.
By supporting this project, you directly contribute to our efforts in implementing those urgent and immediate actions necessary for the care of our Common Home. "We can all cooperate as God's instruments for the care of creation, each according to our own culture, experience, commitment and talents" (Laudato Si' 14).
By supporting SAP, you contribute directly to:
- Empowering rural families, especially women: The SAP equips them with knowledge and resources for self-sufficiency.
- Promoting sustainable agriculture: This approach protects the environment while ensuring long-term food production.
- Building resilience in the face of climate change: The project equips communities to adapt to a changing environment.
We have attached a more detailed appeal for your consideration. We hope you could share it with your congregation and sustain our mission in Riimenze to empower the people of South Sudan with better practices in farming and food production.
For any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@solidarityssudan.org
Peace & blessings to all of you,
Solidarity with South Sudan
