Fr. Philip Benzy Romician, new Superior General of the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament

The 36th General Chapter of the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament took place in Vietnam from 6 to 24 November 2023.

On 20 and 21 November, the new Superior General and his Council were elected:

Superior General: Fr Philip Benzy Romician - India

1st Councillor General: Father Anaclet Bambala - Democratic Republic of Congo

2nd Councillor General: Father Francisco Jr Marques - Brazil

3rd General Councillor: Fr José Antonio Rivera Ruiz - Spain

4th General Councillor: Fr Roel Dela Cruz - Philippines

General Bursar: Father Roel Dela Cruz - Philippines
