The new Superior General of the Basialian Order of St. Josaphat has been elected

The XIVth General Roman Synaxis of the Basilian Order of St. Josaphat, which took place from 11 to 23 July 2022 at the Pontifical Ukrainian College of St. Josaphat in Rome, elected Father Robert Roman Lisseiko, O.S.B.M. as the new Superior General - Protoarchimandrite of the Order for a term of six years.

According to the regulations, the four Councillors were also elected, thus forming the new General Council:

• Fr. Illya Oleh Bronovskyy - Vicar General
• Fr. Luis Caciano - 2nd General Councillor
• Fr. Mauricio Popadiuk - 3rd General Councillor
• Fr. Timoteo Taras Kotsur - 4th General Councillor
